| 4/20/2008 | The University of Georgia Club Tennis Team had a historical week at Nationals in Cary, North Carolina. Upon meeting tennis royalty in the likes of Billie Jean King, The Bulldawgs reached the quarterfinals of the maindraw and finished 6th overall out of a whopping 64 teams! This goes down as the most succesful result in a National showing for the dawgs-improving upon a 10th place finish last year. For a couple-Meg Inscoe and Jamie Lee-it was a final club tennis showing however the tournament turned out to be a great way to go out. Wins over the weekend were recorded by Kayte Granick, Meg Inscoe, Hannah Woodhead, Emily Karas, Michael Paul, Bob Klien, Matt Vieson and Jamie Lee. There was even a special appearance by team MILF-Kadee Newberry. Much thanks to everyone who played! GO DAWGS! |  | | 4/6/2008 | The weekend was a success as UGA played along the border of South Carolina. Making a stop in Charleston the Bulldawgs steamrolled to a 9-0 victory over COFC and then on Sunday battled in the heat for an 11-3 victory over USC. Wins over the weekend were recorded by Jamie Lee, Bob Klein, Meg Inscoe, Lauren Snipes, Mia Catherine Morgan, Michael Paul, Kayte Granick, Chris Clark and Will Campbell. Much thanks to everyone who played! | | | 3/3/2008 | Congratulations team on winning Southern Campus Championships! Nationals here we come! | | | 2/18/2008 | UGA played a solid match against Virginia Tech taking 8 of the 9 matches including a 3 set victory at the number 1 singles spot! Wins were recorded by Michael Paul, Matt Vieson, Bob Klein, Hannah Woodhead, Jamie Lee, and Will Campbell. GO DAWGS! | | | 2/10/2008 | UGA Bulldawg Blackout Bash! All four teams that played did incredibly well! Congratulations to everyone! The Red team won the tournament! Congratulations! The Black team had a very close match with NC State in the semifinals! Congratulations! The Silver team won the backdraw! Congratulations! The White team did incredibly well also and I am confident if they had a full team the whole time they would have done even better! Well done everyone! I have posted a file with all the results! | | | 12/15/2007 | VICTORY OVER GEORGIA TECH! 10-3 with a lot of close matches against a talented Tech Team, when it counted UGA pulled out many of the matches and ended the fall season with an exclamation point! | | | 10/13/2007 | FLORIDA!! The tournament went down as the most unorganized in the history of all club tennis sporting events, but that didnt stop the 22 UGA Club tennis players from bringing the boom to the Gator Bowl. Ladies ran into the finals in high style, while the guys made it to the Semis including a 1 pt quarterfinal victory. Well Done! | | | 9/20/2007 | BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA!!! UGA runs to the finals of the UNC Charlotte Fall Brawl taking no prisoners along the way to the finals. Posting an overall 6-1 record and an impressive win over the number 1 seed. Congrats Meggy, Emilia, Nicholas, Lucas, Mary Catherine, Kaytia, William , and Jason. | |
